About Me
Hello! I’m Daniel Kiser, a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist in the state of Tennessee. I hold a master’s degree in Biblical Studies as well as a master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. For over four years, I’ve demonstrated clinical effectiveness using evidenced-based approaches as a counselor, clinical supervisor, and behavioral health manager working with adolescents with severe suicidal tendencies, anxiety, aggression, and high risk behaviors. Additionally, I’ve supported families during their time of crisis, disillusionment, and despair in order to help them re-establish connection, trust, and empowerment within their parent-child relationship.During my time at Lee University, I explored what it really means to be human—looking at it through the lenses of psychology, faith, and behavior. These experiences, along with proven, research-based methods, have prepared me to support you in reaching your goals. I’m here to listen, guide, and walk with you on a path toward growth and empowerment.Counseling is oriented toward reclaiming, rediscovering, and restoring vital aspects of humanity. I’d be honored to support you on your journey, and I’m hopeful we can build something meaningful together. Let’s connect for a free 15-minute consultation to see how we can take the next step forward.

Individual Sessions
Individual Sessions are committed to empowerment, maturation, and healing. LIfe experiences, family dynamics, emotional distress, and cultural pressures often diminish life. Through a therapeutic and collaborative relationship, we will seek to identify, process, and explore underlying causes, ineffective thought patterns, and opportunities to change.

To Be Human.Sounds so simple yet so hard in a world filled with noises, distractions and marketing strategies that distract us from ourselves.Anthropos Counseling (AC) is committed to helping people rediscover their humanity through mindful reflection instead of mindlessly walking through life. Mindless living entails living out scripts prescribed by our family, by religion, or by society without thoughtful reflection or critical engagement. Over time, we find ways to numb, distract, and suppress the vibrance of our human longings for connection, vulnerability, and exploration. We learn to settle, medicate, and normalize our human expression. Prolonged, we experience profound loneliness, meaninglessness, and emptiness.Anthropos is committed to exploring, questioning, and hopefully shattering oppressive scripts that diminish our lives in order to re-write scripts that allow us to experience vitality for life. The invitation of therapy is to Re-Claim, Re-Discover, and Re-store human longings in meaningful ways that enhance our lives instead of diminish it.I would love to join you in this journey as a sojourner and someone who has found ways to derive meaning, purpose, and joy amidst the sorrows and pain of life.
